Scholarship | 4th Wave

Eligibility criteria:

Ukrainian citizenship
Fluency in English and Ukrainian
Enrolment in an undergraduate program of an accredited post-secondary institution (college or university) in the province of Ontario, Canada, on a full-time basis (first-year students should start their studies in the Fall of 2023 or during the Winter of 2024)
Proven leadership and active involvement in the Ukrainian community
Preference will be given to displaced Ukrainians impacted by Russia's full-scale illegal invasion of Ukraine.
This scholarship will be awarded to young people, 18-24 years of age

ANNA KISIL SCHOLARSHIP

The IOUC Fourth Wave will determine eligibility at its sole discretion, with the recommendation
of the Fourth Wave Scholarship Committee. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to
disqualify submissions that are inconsistent with Fourth Wave eligibility of any applicant and to
disqualify any applicant who submits an application with dishonest information and/or does not
sign the Information Release Consent Form.

Personal statement - 1-2 pages (Please tell us your story and help us to understand why you are a good candidate for receiving a scholarship)
Proof of acceptance from the accredited college or university in Canada (for students who will start their studies during the Fall of 2023 or Winter of 2024). All majors are welcome to apply.
Recent official transcript (for students who are already enrolled at the post-secondary institution on a full-time basis)
Copy of the Ukrainian passport (first page)
Copy of the student permit
One reference letter (academic, professional, or volunteering)
One reference letter from the not-for-profit organization describing your community involvement
